Class Descriptions

Core
Core is a class that focuses of core strength and stability as a key foundation for your yoga practice. All experience levels welcome.



Deep Hips
Designed to get into our hips we will explore standing, balancing and sitting asanas that we hold for a little longer than usual. This class encourages practitioners to stay connected to the breath while developing body awareness. This allows us to feel into the sensations of the body to determine our edge and cultivate an ability to find strength and ease in each pose. All experience levels welcome.



Elemental Flow
Elemental is a class the explores the essential nature of the elements to support a deeper integration of yoga. This class is a balance of fiery flow and nurturing poses. All experience levels welcome.


Hatha
Hatha is the yoga of balance. This class give us the opportunity to develop body-breath-mind awareness as we explore the body's full range of motion by moving through a variety of postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. All experience levels welcome.



Mid-Week Stress Release
A slower-paced Hatha class is the perfect antidote to the Wednesday slump. We take extra time to work though postures and breathing, releasing tension from the beginning of the week. This creates a calmer mind and more relaxed body to support you through the rest of the week. All experience levels welcome.



Neck, Shoulder & Back Release (trauma informed)
Do you experience neck and shoulder pain or tension? Using a gentle balance of strength, flexibility, and breath you will learn helpful stretches and exercises you can perform throughout your day to help release the upper body and improve posture. All experience levels welcome.



Prana
Prana is a class that explores the power of our breath to illuminate internal awareness, intention and vitality. All experience levels welcome.



Rise & Flow
Calling all early birds! Start your morning with a class that will invigorate your body and mind so you can step into your day with ease. All experience levels welcome.



Roll & Release
Rolling or Myofascial Release is a powerful self-healing tool that can assist with relieving muscle tightness while helping to release toxins and promote healthy circulation. Self-myofascial release is known to relieve pain, enhance alignment, improve range of motion and flexibility, and reduce nerve irritation symptoms. After using massage balls to roll out and explore various areas of tension in the body, we will promote muscle release and healing through restorative yoga postures. All experience levels welcome.



SATTVA
SATTVA classes include a flowing sequence of postures that shift on a monthly basis, reflecting a cycling focus on front body, back body, side body and central strength. The aim is to awaken 360-degrees of sensation and connection to develop full physical awareness, and ignite a conscious relationship to the energetics of the body. Classes conclude with pranayama and meditation. Suitable for intermediate and advanced students.


SATTVA Legs
Opening and strengthening the legs creates a grounded and empowered foundation for uncovering even flexibility throughout the entire body. This class develops flexibility, strength, and awareness through the legs and feet to deepen optimal alignment and opening in the body. Great for anyone with low back pain, shoulder tension or stiff legs. All experience levels welcome.



SATTVA Restorative
This class will leave your body and mind soothed and rejuvenated. We work with gentle seated postures and longer holds to facilitate deep openings in the body as well as with conscious breath to work with nervous system and the mind. All experience levels welcome.



Stress Release
Start your weekend with a class featuring poses and breath work from three yoga lineages: Hatha yoga to wake up the muscles and give the body an all-over stretch. Longer-held poses from Yin yoga will ensure our joints and connective tissues remain hydrated and mobile. A touch of Restorative will ensure that we maintain a calm mind and light heart as we make our way through the day. All experience levels welcome.



Yin
Known as the quiet practice, Yin yoga presents an opportunity to slow down our movements, breath and thoughts. Focusing on the joints and connecting tissues, we move through a series of longer-held, passive poses to bring nourishment to the deeper tissues of the body. All experience levels welcome.
