Welcome to our cozy studio!

We are so happy to have you join us. To ensure that your experience is a pleasure for you and those around you, here are a few things to help you get acquainted.

Most importantly remember that this your practice! We encourage you to approach it with gratitude and patience. Please respect your body's needs and go at your own pace. It's always okay to take a break and rest on your mat when needs be.

As we navigate returning to the studio for in-person classes, our top priority is to ensure the space is as safe as possible for students and teachers. We all share the responsibility for monitoring our general health - if you are feeling unwell, please do not attend any classes. 

We will be cleaning the studio after every class following the W.H.O.'s cleaning guidelines.

To minimize movement within the studio during class, we ask that all students change at home and use the washroom before coming to class. As well, please bring only the items you need for class.We appreciate your cooperation in following our guidelines in an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Class Registration
All students must sign up online before coming to class. You can register up to 60 minutes before the start time. 

I didn't get a chance to sign up online. Can I still come to class?
No. Drop-ins are not permitted at this time.

How do I cancel a class?
Class cancellations must be online. You can cancel your class up to 2 hours prior. No refunds or class credits will be issued if you register but do not attend the class.

What time do you open?
Our doors will open 15 minutes before class. To avoid congestion in the entry, please enter the studio one at a time and go directly to your mat space as directed by the teacher and stay on your mat. After class please depart the studio promptly.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes. All students are asked to wear a mask when entering the studio until they are seated on the mat. You will need to put it back on when leaving the studio.

Are classes set up for physical distancing?
Yes! Our classes have a maximum of 4 people. Mat spaces are marked out and numbered. Students will enter the studio space one at a time and place their mats in the numbered spaces in numerical order. The teacher will guide you to the appropriate spot.

I think I might be late to class. Can I still attend?
No. The door will be locked at the beginning of each class. Late comers are not permitted. Please do not knock on the window or door.

Do I need to bring my own mat?
Yes. Mats and props will not be provided at this time for classes. Be sure to bring your own clean mat. You are welcome to bring your own props; however, it is recommended you only bring what you need and keep your mat space tidy.

Do your teachers offer adjustments?
No. Teachers will remain on their mat for the duration of the class and hands-on adjustments will not be offered for the time being. We will do our very best to provide a variety of verbal cues and demonstrate modifications. Please don’t hesitate to ask for clarification or an alternative.

What age qualifies for the senior rate?
Anyone over the age of 65.

Is your studio fragrance free?
While we strive to keep our studio is fragrance free, some teachers do burn incense during their class. Please inform the teacher if you are scent sensitive. We also encourage you to avoid wearing heavily scented products as many people are sensitive.

Do you have parking?
There is street parking available on the north and south sides of 112 Avenue, between 67 and 63 streets. Please note that from Monday to Friday there is no parking on the north side of the street between 7:00 and 8:30am and no parking on the south side of the street between 4:30 and 6:00pm. There is also parking available on the adjacent neighbourhood streets however we ask that you respect our neighbourhood as there may be other parking restrictions.
